GED BRANNAN has done a good job to get Morecambe into contention for the play-offs, but how could he complain about the penalty award against his team on Saturday?
Elliot Lee’s shot 10 minutes into the second half was handled in the area by David Tutonda - well ‘handled’ doesn’t really cover it, as Tutonda looked like he was hailing a cab.
After the match, Brannan described the award as “a penalty that never was”.
Sorry Ged, that’s one of the most stonewall awards you’re likely to see.
With this in mind, shall we now complain about the decision to penalise Eoghan O’Connell for his handball offence at home to Notts County last season? Ridiculous!
Anyway, the Reds are looking in great shape to achieve back-to-back promotions and I’m fully expecting them to maintain their superb home form versus Harrogate this evening.
Paul Mullin’s found his groove again over recent weeks and I’m backing him to get another this evening.
Ollie Palmer’s also made a positive difference since his return to the line-up and it would be great to see him bag a goal as well.
OUR PREDICTIONS:
WREXHAM 3 HARROGATE TOWN 0 NICK HARRISON
WREXHAM 3 HARROGATE TOWN 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS
WREXHAM 2 HARROGATE TOWN 0 SHAUN DAVIES
SCORES SO FAR... RICHARD WILLIAMS 40; NICK HARRISON 36; SHAUN DAVIES 35.
