DEESIDE DRAGONS will be hoping to make sure it's another memorable weekend.
Already guaranteed a spot in the NIHL Division One North end-of-season play-offs, there's a busy spell in store, beginning with tomorrow's home clash with Blackburn Hawks in the M56 Cup.
Dragons are at home again the following evening as they take on Whitley Warriors in the league, aiming to build on last week's stunning 7-4 win at leaders Billingham Stars.
Alex Parry, Matt Wainwright (2), Ross Kennedy (2), Jakub Hájek and Petr Valusiak got the goals for a Deeside line-up missing a number of figures.
"The majority will be back for this weekend," said assistant head coach Matt Compton.
"It will be a tough sort of weekend. Blackburn in the cup and we want to keep the momentum going.
"Then there's a big game on Sunday with Whitley. We want to finish strong and go into the play-offs in a good spot."
Ice Sheffield will be the venue for the play-offs, which will be held on the weekend of April 6 and 7.
