WREXHAM RUGBY CLUB and North Wales’ girls rugby hub, The Valkyries, hosted one of the biggest celebrations of women’s rugby in the North East Wales area.
Wrexham ladies took on the might of the Looseheadz mental health charity Barbarians team while Valkyries, including the under eight debutants, competed alongside teams from North Wales.
Nearly 250 players took part, highlighting the massive strides taken in promoting the sport.
