WINNING WEEKEND: Wrexham U15s are through to the semi-finals of the RGC Cup after a thrilling 24-19 victory at Colwyn Bay.
The hosts surged ahead to take a 14-0 lead, but Faris Rami forced his way over in the corner for Wrexham’s first try before Marcus Adams ran half the length of the field to score between the posts. Toby Garrett crossed to put Wrexham ahead for the first time but the Bay bounced back to go 19-17 clear.
However, Luke Sinnott-Davies was Wrexham’s hero scoring the winning try that he also converted.
Wrexham U14s returned to winning ways against Ellesmere Port where Alfie Phillips was their star player and Mark Bailey grabbed a hat-trick.
