A BIG improvement is needed in the away form to remain on course for automatic promotion.
Wrexham's three-game unbeaten run in League Two came to an end following a 1-0 defeat against Gillingham at The Priestfield Stadium.
Although brilliant at home, fourth-placed Wrexham's form on the road has been a concern this season and it continues to be a worry after losing for the sixth time on their travels.
Gillingham scored the only goal 10 minutes into the second half but a lack of quality and killer instinct in the final third meant the Reds created few chances all game.
Here's how the players rated.
ARTHUR OKONKWO: Pulled off some saves but wasn't overly busy and couldn't be faulted for the goal. 7
RYAN BARNETT: Had a lot of joy down the right in the first half in particular and could have scored but failed to hit target. 6
MAX CLEWORTH: Made some vital interceptions and did well against a tricky Gills strikeforce. 7
EOGHAN O'CONNELL: Composed with the ball when playing out and was solid defensively. 7
JORDAN TUNNICLIFFE: Replaced the suspended Will Boyle and restricted Gills to little. 6
JACOB MENDY: Got into come good positions but Wrexham struggled in the final third. 5
JAMES MCCLEAN: Had a very good first-half when Reds played some good football but just lacked clear cut chances. 6
ANDY CANNON: Was a presence as the holding midfielder and did his best to get Wrexham going. 7
ELLIOT LEE: Kept going but things just didn't happen for Reds in the final third. 5
STEVEN FLETCHER: Came close with bicycle kick but didn't get a lot of service. 5
JACK MARRIOTT: Wrexham played some good football at times but lacked a killer instinct. 5
SUBSTITUTES
PAUL MULLIN: Didn't get any chances. 4
SAM DALBY: Fresh legs in attack. 4
LUKE BOLTON: Gave the ball away a couple of times. 4
JORDAN DAVIES: Good to see him back on the pitch. 4
LUKE YOUNG: Got stuck in when he came on. 5
