NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have confirmed the appointment of Jack Harder as the women’s team’s head coach for the 2024 season.

He joins the set-up with experience at Bradford Bulls and, more recently, as head coach of Bangor University rugby league.

Harder told the club’s website: “Having coached rugby league for many years, I am looking to promote the game in an area where the sport isn’t widely known, and create an opportunity for women to get involved in a great game.

“Having seen what the squad achieved last season, I am looking to build on a fantastic first season and increase the skill levels and participation levels of an amazing team.”

Head of women’s rugby Becki Davies (pictured right) added: “Jack brings a wealth of experience to the role and also shares the club’s drive and vision to harness the amazing talent pool of women which we have in the region.

“We want to continue the side’s development in 2024, and in turn make North Wales Crusaders the destination club for girls of all abilities to come and play their rugby.”
