AS it's early January, it's the perfect time to start thinking about the cricket season!
Home comforts will open Northop Hall's campaign when the 2024 Liverpool Competition season gets underway in April.
Hall's first Division Two encounter will be at home to Caldy on Saturday, April 20.
This will be followed seven days later by a trip to Southport and May opens at Ainsdale, prior to three consecutive home matches, one of which will be in the Ray Tyler Cup on May 18.
There's also a home match to begin the Shropshire League summer for Chirk.
They will host Newport in Division One on April 27 and Chirk's first away match is at Wroxeter on May 4.
