PHIL PARKINSON says his players can look forward to a rousing reception at The Racecourse following their FA Cup exploits and he knows there will be no let-up from supporters when Wrexham continue their promotion challenge against AFC Wimbledon.

The Reds go into tomorrow's clash with the Dons on the back of Sunday's 1-0 win at rivals Shrewsbury Town in the famous knockout competition.

Wrexham's reward for victory in the first cross-border derby for 16 years is a fourth round trip to Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers but the FA Cup is put on the backburner for now as Parkinson's men, currently third in League Two and only two points behind leaders Stockport County with a game in hand, aim to cement their place in the top-three.

Parkinson insists his players will be focussed on the job in hand against Wimbledon, who are seventh, and fans can once again play their part.

"Every game has equal importance and we can put the FA Cup firmly to one side now and concentrate on the game at home," said the Reds' boss.

"I'm sure our supporters are going to give the lads a great reception after the win down at Shrewsbury.

"There is nothing better as a player after a big away victory against one of your rivals than playing at home in the next game.

"I know the supporters are going to be right up for this game.

"Speaking to so many of them, they enjoyed last weekend but equally, like myself, they are really focussed on the Wimbledon game.

"Let's make it a real, top atmosphere at The Racecourse and keep our league form going.

"We always embrace the FA Cup and we will continue to do that in the next round but the league is absolutely key."
