THERE'S no such thing as too many games as far as Sam Dalby is concerned.

Wrexham face Burton Albion in the EFL Trophy second round at The Racecourse tonight, just 48 hours after beating Yeovil Town 3-0 to progress to an FA Cup third round derby clash at Shrewsbury Town in early January.

Dalby scored the third goal after coming off the bench and is in-line to start against the Brewers as Phil Parkinson plans to make wholesale changes.

With no shortage of competition, the striker sees it as another chance to impress his manager in the quest to be included in the side for forthcoming matches.

"We all want to be playing games and we can rotate our squad and still have a very strong team," said Dalby.

"Whether you are starting or coming off the bench, it is important to show what you can do.

"We have got a strong squad so every opportunity counts, you have got to take them.

"Every time you get on the pitch, it is a good opportunity to show how good you are to try and get in the team for the next week.

"Any opportunity you get, you want to help the team out and thankfully I did that against Yeovil."

On facing League One outfit Burton, Dalby added: "It is going to be another tough test for us.

"It is only 48 hours after the Yeovil game but we will do our best to get through to the next round."
