CONNAH’S QUAY NOMADS were knocked out of the Adran Trophy after a 5-0 home loss at the hands of top flight Aberystwyth Town.
Gwenllian Jones proved to be the main difference on the day as her first half hat-trick had Adran Premier League Aber in the box seat.
All of these came in the last quarter-of-an-hour in the first half, with Jones completing her treble from the penalty spot.
Mel Barlow had an effort from a free kick for Nomads which was saved by Sophie Steele.
An injury to Mae Hodgers meant Nomads played the last 35 minutes with 10 players and Aber completed their victory with efforts from Imogen Scourfield and Rebecca Mathias.
Other results: Cardiff City 21 Pontardawe 0; Cardiff Met 10 Coed Duon 0; Llandudno 0 Swansea City 13; Pontypridd 1 Swansea Uni 1 (Swansea Uni won 6-5 on penalties).
