WREXHAM will take on Burton Albion at The Racecourse in the second round of the EFL Trophy.
Phil Parkinson's men were guaranteed a home tie after finishing top of Northern Section Group B.
A hat-trick of victories against Newcastle United under-21s (1-0), Crewe Alexandra (3-0) and Port Vale (2-1) meant Wrexham, who won the competition in 2005, could look forward to a game at their north Wales stadium against one of the runners-up from Northern groups E-H - either Stockport County, Barnsley, Lincoln City or Burton Albion
The Reds can now look forward to a clash with Burton, who are 13th on League One, in the last 32 which is scheduled to take place in the week commencing Monday December 4.
