WREXHAM’S win at Notts County was top-notch but how about THAT performance at Mansfield on Saturday night?

On a pudding of a pitch, the Reds put on a passing master-class in a top-class FA Cup display that had boss Phil Parkinson beaming at the final whistle.

There were so many plus points but you have to single out Sam Dalby and Andy Cannon for special praise.

Dalby was dangerous throughout while only a horrendous late challenge denied Cannon from taking the man of the match accolade for his brilliant box-to-box display.

With injuries mounting up, to see players who may not have been Parkinson’s first-choices performing so well is so encouraging heading into the pre-Christmas programme of fixtures.

With Wrexham already guaranteed a place in the knockout stages of the EFL Trophy, tonight’s home clash with Port Vale gives Parkinson the chance to rest many players.

And that will give the likes of Jake Bickerstaff, Jordan Davies, Luke Young and Max Cleworth the opportunity to show exactly what they can do.

OUR PREDICTIONS:

WREXHAM 2 PORT VALE 1 NICK HARRISON

WREXHAM 2 PORT VALE 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS

WREXHAM 3 PORT VALE 1 SHAUN DAVIES

SCORES SO FAR.......SHAUN DAVIES 20; NICK HARRISON 13; RICHARD WILLIAMS 13
