IT continues to be a busy time at the North Wales Crusaders.

Preparations for the 2024 season are already gathering pace and player-coach Carl Forster has announced his second re-signing for the squad.

Kieron Taylor has agreed to remain with the club for the 2024 campaign.

Taylor, who played 22 times last season as the Crusaders reached the grand final of the League 1 play-offs, scored five tries.

He said: “I’ve really enjoyed my first season at North Wales.

“Especially playing with the lads and the support from coaches.

“I was made up to have reached the play-off final and hope to go one better next year.

“The fans have been great and we couldn’t have done it without them.

“I’m looking forward to getting back at it in the new season.”

Forster told the club’s website: “Kieran was unbelievable last season and that (was) shown at the awards night when he cleaned up the awards.

“He typifies what we are trying to build at the club.

“I’m looking forward to working with him again and building on what was a great first year at this level.”
