MORE than 21,000 Bradford City fans will be cheering on their side at Valley Parade on Saturday but Phil Parkinson says that won't faze his players who will be backed by another sizeable away following

Parkinson knows just how well supported the Bantams are from his successful stint in the hot-seat at the west Yorkshire club from 2011-2016.

With a big stadium and reasonably priced tickets, the fans will be out in force once again for the League Two showdown this weekend but Parkinson's men are used to playing in front of bumper crowds.

Games at The STóK Cae Ras are sell-outs and home teams attract full-houses when Wrexham are in town.

It will be no different this weekend and with nearly 2,800 Reds' supporters making the short trip up the M62, Parkinson says his players and staff will relish the occasion and the electric atmosphere.

Wrexham, fifth in the table and only three points off top spot, will aim to extend the five game unbeaten record and Parkinson can't wait.

"It is great the crowds that Bradford can attract," said Parkinson. "They have always priced their season-tickets reasonably and the city of Bradford have responded to that.

"But equally, it is great us selling out again for our away following.

"It will be a cracking atmosphere but we are used to that type of atmosphere here at The Racecourse.

"We are used to playing in front of packed houses here and everywhere we go, it is always the home team's biggest game of the season and we enjoy that.

"The size of the stadium at Bradford means there will be more people there at the weekend and it will be a terrific game with two good teams going head to head.

"We are really looking forward to it, what a great game it is going to be and I can't wait to go there."
