RGC will hope to gain their first Welsh Premiership success of the season tomorrow as they welcome Swansea to Colwyn Bay.

With Wales taking on Argentina in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, this match will now kick-off at an earlier time of 1.30pm.

Head coach Ceri Jones has been impressed with the displays of his young squad so far this season and he’ll be looking for another positive display.

RGC lost 26-10 to Ebbw Vale in their last run-out and Jones told the club’s website: “I thought it was a much-improved performance, but again at times we didn’t deal with the momentum of the game.

“We need to control the game better and learn that if decisions aren’t going our way – then how to deal with that.

“You could see when we played with tempo and the referee allowed it later in the game then we caused them some problems.

“We have a few work ons, the set-piece didn’t work today and we made some errors that caused us issues but we came to play rugby and when we were allowed to we did.”

Other fixtures: Merthyr v Pontypool; Pontypridd v Bridgend; Aberavon v Newport; Cardiff v Neath.

There are two matches lined-up this evening. In Division One North, Ruthin head west to tackle Bethesda, while COBRA Seconds host Bala Seconds in Division Three North East.

Tomorrow, Wrexham Seconds host Flint in Division Three North East, while Nant Conwy Seconds go to Bro Ffestiniog in Division Two North.
