MIXED FORTUNES: There was a win for Mold U15s but Wrexham U15s were on the wrong end of a 40-29 defeat at home to Whitchurch in Sunday’s junior action.
Mold triumphed 35-14 against Llandudno while Wrexham’s try scorers were Marcus Adams (2), John Gittins and Tom Jones. Luke Sinnott-Davies kicked three conversions and a penalty.
Wrexham U14s were also in action in Welshpool where Seth Livesey scored two tries and Ted Williams was named man of the match.
