NORTH WALES CRUSADERS’ thoughts have already turned towards next season.

Player-coach Carl Forster had turned his attention towards the 2024 campaign within hours of Sunday’s 18-6 loss to Doncaster in the grand final of the League 1 play-offs.

Forster told CruCast: “Life’s that busy, you don’t really have time to stop and think about it, if I’m going to be honest.

“It’s kind of move on to the next job and, Monday morning, I already had phone calls and messages about players and next season, pre-season and it really is a thankless task and you’ve just got to get on with it.”

The Super League play-offs get underway tonight as Hull KR host Leigh.

Tomorrow, defending champions St Helens welcome Warrington.
