PLAYER-COACH Carl Forster believes the North Wales Crusaders’ squad can deal with any adversity heading into the biggest game of the season.
Crusaders head to Doncaster this Sunday in the grand final of the League 1 play-offs and Forster has stressed that quality players can step up to the plate when the game plan needs to be changed.
He told CruCast: “Obviously, we plan our subs and you want a perfect game plan, but like you lose a Rob Massam at the weekend and things all change.
“You can’t account for HIAs, injuries, red cards, yellow cards and you’ve just got to do what’s best at the time.
“But I think our fitness levels, along with our substitutions, is benefitting come the back end of the game.”
