PLAYER-COACH Carl Forster says the determined North Wales Crusaders players deserve their end-of-season success following a testing year.
After a tough start to the season, Crusaders have turned things around and they are now just one win away from gaining promotion.
Sunday’s stunning 25-18 victory at Hunslet means that Crusaders will head to Doncaster this Sunday in the grand final of the League 1 play-offs.
In a post on X, Forster said: “0-7 start of year. This group absolutely written off.
“Re-written every script possible. The boys deserve this.”
Rob Massam, Matt Reid, Kieran Taylor and Cole Oakley grabbed the tries in the stunning win at Hunslet.
