GWERSYLLT Park reclaimed top spot in Division One courtesy of their 92-run triumph at Dolgellau.

Neil Pearson (5-30) and Lewis Cole (3-18) were in great form to dismiss the hosts for 76, in reply to Park’s initial 168 (Jake James 43, Joe Williamson 4-33).

Northop seconds maintained their title hopes with a slender two-wicket win at Llay, who set 214 for five (Nathan Humphreys 66, Tom Parry 42no, Josh Griffiths 3-45).

Matthew Mullarkey’s unbeaten 61 helped Northop to 218 for eight.

James Du Toit (83 not out) and Tom Hooson (30 not out) led Connah’s Quay to 120 without loss at Menai Bridge seconds, who were dismissed for 118 (Du Toit 4-13, Mali Auty 4-48).

Hawarden Park cracked 207 for eight (Owen Skillander 47, Adam De Rycke 36) prior to Abergele’s 167 (David Moulson 57, Tom Norris 3-31).

Josh Williams (29) top scored as Marchwiel and Wrexham set 124, but it wasn’t enough for victory as Bethesda eased to 125 for one.
