PHIL PARKINSON will assess his walking wounded ahead of tonight's home match with Yeovil Town before naming the team he hopes can take Wrexham one step closer to automatic promotion.

The Reds drew 0-0 against Barnet on Saturday and need six points from their remaining three games to clinch the title.

After facing Yeovil, Wrexham take on Boreham Wood at The Racecourse on Saturday and back-to-back wins will guarantee top spot ahead of the final day trip to Torquay United.

But Parkinson said there were a number of casualties following the hard-fought stalemate at The Hive.

"We have got one or two bumps and bruises," said Parkinson.

"We have got a few doubts, more knocks than what we have had in a game for a while.

"We will pick the team we feel is right to keep the points tally ticking over."

Left wing-back Callum McFadzean was shown a straight red card after catching Bees goalkeeper Laurie Walker and Parkinson added: "We are looking into the appeal process."

McFadzean started in place of Jacob Mendy who was absent because of a thigh injury and Parkinson said: "Jacob's injury is very minor and we will assess him."

Centre-back Jordan Tunnicliffe has missed the last two games because of a back spasm and isn't expected to feature against Yeovil.

"Jordan is still a doubt," said Parkinson.

"He has had an injection and it hasn't settled down as quickly as we'd hoped."

Parkinson remains hopeful that defender Aaron Hayden will be involved before the end of the season.

Hayden has been out with a calf problem sustained in the 3-3 FA Cup fourth round draw with Sheffield United on January 29 and is closing in on a return.

"Aaron has had the all-clear from the tendon injury," added Parkinson.

"He is back on the training ground running but he has not joined in full training yet.

"We are preparing him to be ready as soon as possible."

When asked whether he hopes Hayden will feature again this season, Parkinson added: "Yes, I don't think it's out of the question."
