WREXHAM extended the unbeaten run to 17 National League matches by beating Wealdstone 3-1 at The Racecourse.

Paul Mullin scored his 30th goal of the season to put the Reds ahead just before the break but the Stones levelled early in the second half.

However, substitutes Jacob Mendy and Sam Dalby struck to secure victory and leave Phil Parkinson's side second in the table, three points behind Notts County with two games in hand.

Here's how the players rated:

MARK HOWARD: Didn’t have an abundance of saves to make but showed a safe pair of hands. 6

ANTHONY FORDE: Got into some good positions when Wrexham stepped up a gear second half. 7

EOGHAN O’CONNELL: Back in the side after missing FA Cup tie and the new signing was solid on his home debut. 7

BEN TOZER: Didn’t put a foot wrong in the heart of the defence. 7

TOM O’CONNOR: Injury meant O’Connor, filling in as a centre-back, was forced off at the break. Was doing okay. 6

CALLUM MCFADZEAN: Another player not risked second half. 6

JAMES JONES: His late shot was saved but Dalby was on hand to score the third goal. 6

LUKE YOUNG: Wrexham made better use of the ball in the second half and still never hit top gear. 6

ELLIOT LEE: Another lively performance by the playmaker and his brilliant cross set-up Mullin for the opening goal. 7

PAUL MULLIN: The leading scorer finished his goal well as he took his account to 30 for the season. 7

OLLIE PALMER: Had a couple of chances to add to his tally. 6

SUBSTITUTES

MAX CLEWORTH: Solid display after coming on at the break. 6

JACOB MENDY: A big attacking threat down the left flank and was rewarded with a brilliant goal. 7

SAM DALBY: Had only just come on when he scored the third goal. 6
