A POTENTIAL home tie against one of the Premier League giants Iin the fifth round of the FA Cup couldn't be further from Phil Parkinson's mind.

Wrexham drew 3-3 against Sheffield United in a thrilling clash at The Racecourse on Sunday and will meet in a fourth round replay next week.

The winners at Bramall Lane will entertain Tottenham Hotspur in the last 16 of the famous competition during the week commencing Monday February 27.

But before facing the Blades for a second time, Wrexham continue the National League title challenge away at Altrincham on Saturday and Parkinson's focus is purely on that fixture.

"The draw is obviously a good one," said the Reds' boss.

"The challenge is to win the replay but we are not even thinking about that until after the Altrincham game."

Parkinson was left counting the cost after centre-backs Jordan Tunnicliffe and Aaron Hayden went off injured during the opening 10 minutes of Sunday's clash and are both facing spells on the sidelines.

Tunnicliffe suffered ankle ligament damage while Hayden picked up a calf injury.

However, wing-backs Bryce Hosannah and Jacob Mendy are both back in training after recovering from hamstring problems while Jordan Davies, who sustained medial ligament damage in the 4-1 second round win over Farnborough on November 26 and was facing three months out of action, is making good progress.

"Jacob and Bryce are back in full training so that is promising," said Parkinson.

"I am pleased with those two and Jordan is running on the grass, building up slowly.

"He is progressing well."
