Goalkeeper Christian Dibble has left Wrexham by mutual consent, ending his five-and-a-half-year stay at the Racecourse Ground.

Dibble returned to training last month after recovering from the knee injury suffered at Caernarfon in pre-season but has decided his future lies elsewhere

Dibble, the son of ex-Reds and Wales keeper Andy, made 72 first-team appearances was the longest serving first-team player at the club at the time of his departure which comes after back-up keepers Rory Watson and Kai Calderbank-Park signed on until the end of the season,

Reds manager Phil Parkinson told the club website “We would like to wish Dibbs all the best. He’s been an excellent member of the squad in terms of his personality and character.

“We had a good chat In the summer, and we agreed it was time for him to move on to try and get that number one shirt somewhere else.

“Obviously he then got his bad injury in the summer, but he’s come back and trained well and now the time is right for him to get that move for himself and he goes with our best wishes.”
