PHIL PARKINSON wants to see The Racecourse bouncing this evening as his FA Cup heroes return home to resume the title challenge.

Wrexham pulled off a huge third round upset on Saturday after winning 4-3 at Championship outfit Coventry City.

Parkinson insists the FA Cup is now on the backburner - Wrexham will host Sheffield United in round four on the weekend of Saturday January 28 - with the second placed Reds back in National League action against Bromley at their north Wales stadium tonight.

Supporters have flocked to The Racecourse, where Wrexham boast a 100 per cent record, in huge numbers this season and Parkinson expects the electric atmosphere to go up a notch following his side's cup exploits.

"The focus is now on Bromley and there is nothing better as a player when you are running out at home after an away victory, but an away victory of that magnitude is even better," said the Reds' boss.

"We are all looking forward to a night under the lights at The Racecourse.

"I want everyone who comes in the ground to support us to be ready to play their part.

"I really want to get The Racecourse bouncing and we will be ready.

"The lads know Coventry was a bonus day, a great day out for everybody connected with the club and the adrenalin will be pumping with the supporters.

"But we will settle down and be ready to go again against Bromley."

In-form Wrexham are unbeaten in 18 games in all competitions and Parkinson believes the cup win over the Sky Blues is a big boost for his side.

"The performance against Coventry is another lift for us in terms of what we feel we are capable of," added Parkinson.

"If you look at the other side, it can be damaging for Coventry's confidence.

"That is why the Blyth and Farnborough cup games for instance, the momentum of getting through those games was important for our league form around that time, and this one is put into that category as well."
