WREXHAM progressed to the FA Trophy fourth round with a 3-1 win over Scunthorpe United in front of more than 5,000 supporters at The Racecourse.

Reds' boss Phil Parkinson rang the changes for the rearranged third round tie with the Iron who took an early lead.

But lively striker Jake Bickerstaff levelled before the break with a superb finish and Reece Hall-Johnson put Wrexham ahead in the second half.

Substitute Elliot Lee bagged the third goal in stoppage and Wrexham will now face Altrincham in the next round on Saturday January 14.
