PHIL PARKINSON is not concerned about his side's busy schedule and is just focussed on tomorrow night's FA Trophy third round tie at home to Scunthorpe United.

The game was due to take place on Saturday but was postponed because of a frozen Racecourse pitch.

With the match immediately rearranged for tomorrow evening, the National League fixture against Bromley has been postponed.

The Bromley clash will now have to be rescheduled along with matches against Chesterfield and Yeovil Town, but Parkinson remained upbeat despite a possible fixture back-log.

"It is what it is," said the Reds' boss.

"We just look forward positively and we will rearrange the games.

"We have already looked at when we can try and fit them in so we are in contact with the relevant clubs and the league to get those games in at the right times.

"We will just be ready for Wednesday night against Scunthorpe."

Parkinson had planned to ring the changes for Saturday's meeting with the Iron and rest his regulars, knowing title chasing Wrexham were scheduled to face Bromley tomorrow night until that game was shelved.

Three players - Paul Mullin, Ben Tozer and Aaron Hayden - would definitely not have been involved at the weekend after being given a breather but are now available.

Parkinson has to decide whether the tri will feature tomorrow but he is just pleased to have them in the reckoning ahead of the next league match at home to Solihull Moors on Boxing Day.

"There are a few players who had specialist appointments on Wednesday," added the Reds' boss.

"They were scheduled after the Chesterfield game and wouldn't have been available on Saturday but the lads are itching to get going again.

"When you have these periods where you are not playing, you have got to utilise it to the best of your ability and Mullin, Tozer and Hayden all needed time off from the training pitch for various reasons.

"But they will come back into the fold with a real spring in their step.

"They become available now but we still might choose to rest them against Scunthorpe."
