PHIL PARKINSON believes promotion chasing Wrexham have shown they can win games in different ways.

Saturday’s 4-1 FA Cup second qualifying round victory against Farnborough extended the Reds’ unbeaten run to 12 games in all competitions.

Wrexham have played a lot better but winning is all that matters to Parkinson who is targetting another three point return at York City tomorrow in the push for promotion.

“It is a good achievement from the lads,” he said.

“In those games there have been many different challenges thrown at us and different types of games.

“We have got to keep finding ways to win.

“It can’t always be the fluency we have shown; if you go back to the FA Cup game against Oldham, in the first half we were outstanding.

“Against Farnborough it was a scrappier type of affair but it was another great win for us.”
