WREXHAM will head to Spain in pre-season as part of its build-up to the 2022-23 National League campaign.

The club has announced it's plans ahead of a 15th season in non-league.

Reds' boss Phil Parkinson will take his players and staff to Alicante, Spain for two fixtures on Tuesday July 19 and Saturday July 23.

The club announced on it's official website: "Full details – including opposition, venues and kick-off times – will be confirmed next week, but we can confirm that supporters will be admitted to these games."

Two domestic friendlies have also been confirmed.

The first will take place on Saturday July 16 against Nantwich Town, with kick-off at the Swansway Stadium scheduled for 3pm.

Wrexham are committed to this friendly as a thank you to the Northern Premier League side outfit for hosting last season’s FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay against Marine because work was being carried out on The Racecourse pitch.

This will be an all-ticket game with no segregation, and tickets are now available for purchase.

Wrexham have also lined-up a game against Macclesfield FC at The Racecourse on Saturday July 30, with a 3pm kick-off.

Ticket information for this fixture will be announced in due course.
