WREXHAM registered a seventh successive win by beating Notts County 2-1 at Meadow Lane to reach the FA Trophy semi-finals.

Phil Parkinson opted to make four changes to the side and the Reds fell behind on the half-hour mark but Dan Jarvis levelled just before the break.

Both teams had good spells in the second period and the game hung in the balance until in-form midfielder James Jones scored for the second game in the row to secure victory and put the Reds in the last four of the competition.
