SATURDAY was our first and, fingers-crossed, only live-streamed game of the season as we took on Folkestone Invicta in the FA Trophy.

We had 1,510 individual subscribers from around the world and we know that a fair few of those subscribers, such as The Turf, Saith Seren, et al, had many viewers on the one account.

I'd love to know what the actual total number was. I'd heard that there were 70 people at The Turf, so if we take that to be the high water mark and me, watching at home alone as the low water mark, we can say that the average viewers per stream was 35.5.

Incredible then to think that, if my maths is correct, 53,605 fans watched the game. Surely a record for an FA Trophy game, provided, and I can't stress this enough, that my maths is correct.

Those that did tune in were treated to a thoroughly enjoyable game, in which Folkestone acquitted themselves well, but were eventually swept away by a pretty ruthless Wrexham performance.

If our last round tie was characterised by a couple of brilliant individual goals from Jordan Davies and Max Cleworth, then this week it was all about the team.

Jordan Ponticelli's second goal was a lovely sweeping, flowing move that saw defence turned to attack in the blink of an eye, while Bryce Hosannah capped off an intricate passing move down the left flank between himself, Jordan Davies and Max Cleworth.

Good football against a team who came to play and not shut up shop, much to their credit.

We have drawn Boreham Wood at The Racecourse in the next round on February 12, when we will have fans back in the ground. Commiserations to the 40,000 odd fans who won't be able to get a ticket.

Speaking of tickets, we announced last week that we are now finally able to facilitate the use of print-at-home and e-tickets for games at The Racecourse going forward.

I know that it was a source of great frustration for many that these provisions weren't available for games before and I'm truly sorry that we were unable to provide them until now.

Having now run further internet supply into the stadium, we are confident that our ticketing infrastructure can, at last, handle the prospect of a vastly increased flow of tickets.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming fans to The Racecourse on these tickets.

Away from the Men's side of the club, our Women's team is going great guns in the Genero Adran North League, winning their last six games in a row to put themselves right in the mix with four league games left in the season.

Steve Dale's team have a huge game on Sunday at home to table-toppers Connah's Quay at Brymbo Sports and Social Complex at 2pm.

Things are so tight at the top that it's difficult to call the game a title decider, but I am not afraid to make the difficult calls: It's a title decider.

One thing that is guaranteed is goals, so if you've not yet been to a game this season, this is the week to get down there.

Finally, it remains January. We are beavering away trying to get the players through the door we believe will make a difference to our season.

It has been harder than I foresaw, for a variety of reasons that have been covered elsewhere - Shaun Harvey's interview in this newspaper is a good read - but we are persevering and I am confident come February 1 we will be well equipped.

Now, let's go beat Yeovil. COYR.
