BOTTOM of the table Dover Athletic are without a National League win in 17 National League games this season but Ben Tozer won't be taking the Whites lightly.

Andy Hessenthaler’s side, who began the season with a 12-point deduction for failure to fulfil fixtures last term, ended a run of nine consecutive defeats by drawing 1-1 at Yeovil on Saturday.

That leaves Dover 22 points from safety heading into tomorrow’s clash with seventh placed Wrexham at The Crabble Ground.

But despite fighting it out at different ends of the division, Tozer says Wrexham must give Dover the respect they deserve or risk coming unstuck.

"You can't devalue any game of football," said Tozer. "If you do then you deserve to lose.

"If you disrespect a team then shame on you in my opinion.

"You should never disrespect anyone. Every game is as big as any - it could be your last.

"If you don't turn up on the Saturday and apply yourself in the right way, you will lose.

"If you are 5-10 per cent off it in any game you deserve to lose because you have not applied yourself the same way you would in every other game.

"We will all try and make sure that we are at it and honest enough to go and give a proper account of ourselves."
