WREXHAM are joint favourites at 11/2 with Stockport County to win the National League title while there’s a new name at the top of the list on who will be the club’s new manager.
Two weeks ago it was Mark Hudson at 1/10, then it was Dave Challinor at 4/6 but now former Bradford City and Sunderland boss Phil Parkinson is a 1/2 shot to take the Racecourse hot-seat.
The Reds executive director Humphrey Ker said he expects an announcement this week on who Dean Keates’ successor will be after the club finalised their shortlist last week.
Former Southend manager Chris Powell, who worked closely with Wrexham’s technical advisor Les Reed (both pictured above) at the Football Association, is now a 6/1 shot for the Reds post.
