I WOULD like to lead off by taking the opportunity to thank Dean Keates, Andy Davies and Carl Darlington for all their efforts on behalf of the football club, and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. They will always be welcome back at the Racecourse

The 20/21 season is now in the books and at the club, we are now focused fully on preparations for next season. The diggers will be on the pitch starting next week and big changes are coming around the ground.

This is a big week for us with the arrival of Fleur Robinson as our new chief executive and I am sure I speak on behalf of all our fans when I welcome her to the club and look forward to her bringing her vast experience to all things Wrexham AFC from now. Fleur started on Tuesday and the difference around the place is already palpable.

She is not the only arrival this week - although Les Reed has been part of the club's strategy process for a while now, we were delighted to finally reveal his participation.

He has been watching our games and analysing the squad for some time and helped us to assemble our retained list for this season. All of us at the club would again like to go on record and wish all the players who have given their all this season well for the future.

We have said goodbye to some great servants of the club in the form of Jay Harris, Mark Carrington and Paul Rutherford who have more than 650 games combined for the club.

In other news, the new club shop should be open and in business for the week commencing June 14.

We are putting a new roof on at the moment and refitting the inside. Then it is just a case of waiting for the stock to arrive.

We are currently waiting on response from the FA of Wales about our petition to get the first team back onto Colliers Park for next season and we anticipate that we will be able to sort that out sometime in the near future.

Colliers is the objective for our place to train but we understand it is a difficult balancing act for Colliers and the FAW to please everybody that wants to get on there.

But we are hopeful that we can come to an arrangement that works for everybody.

This is in anticipation of us trying to find and build a new training ground site. Long term that is the objective.

We have a big Summer ahead of us. Everybody put on suncream.
