LOUIS MOULT admits he has been flattered by Wrexham supporters asking him to return to the Racecourse.
The 28-year-old fans' favourite was the Reds' leading scorer with 23 goals in the 2014-15 season and he went onto play for Motherwell and Preston, who released the striker last week following an injury-plagued spell at Deepdale.
"It was flattering really," said Moult. "I have left Preston now and who knows what the future holds.
"I am excited for the future on a personal note and can't wait to get going wherever that may be."
Moult has a lot of affection for Wrexham, adding: "They will always have a place in my heart.
"I loved my time there and the people were unbelievable with me and my family.
"I still take an interest on what is happening there and it is a football club I have got a lot of time for."
