LEFT-BACK Tyler Garratt has joined Wrexham on loan from Stockport County until the end of the season.

Reds boss Dean Keates revealed this week that he might have to bring a replacement for James Jennings who picked up a knee injury in Saturday's goalless draw with Dagenham, and Garratt has signed from National League rivals County.

The 23-year-old left-back came through the youth ranks at Lincoln City and then made the switch to Bolton Wanderers, making three first-team appearances for the club in the Championship.

He went on to sign for Doncaster Rovers for an undisclosed fee in June 2016 where he made 15 league appearances before spending time on loan at Eastleigh and AFC Wimbledon.

Following his release by Rovers at the end of the 2018-19 season, Garratt joined Stockport and he has made 11 league appearances for the Edgeley Park outfit this term.

Garratt could make his Wrexham debut in tomorrow's clash at fellow strugglers Chesterfield.
