FLINT PHOENIX A wrapped up the double as they added the Challenge Cup to the North East Wales League Division One title.
Phoenix's talent and overall power prove too much for opponents Mold C, who put up a good fight on their way to a 12-2 defeat.
Mal Davies and Matthew Swash overcame Dave Carnelly and Andy Gibbons, 21/11, 21/10 at second men's for Mold, while Flint duo, Carla White and Sammy Hutt, were in fine form at first ladies, beating Helena Warman and Pauline Matsko, 21/17, 21/17.
Phoenix C, meanwhile, came up short in the Challenge Cup Plate final as they were beaten 11-5 by Denbigh A.
Iain Lovatt and Steve Aylott combined for Denbigh to beat Alfie Moorcroft and Dave Stretch, 21/13, 21/19, before Moorcroft got his revenge as he partnered Sasha James to a 21/20, 21/10 victory over Beverley Dolman and Aylott.
