Jack Morgan smashed in a hat-trick as Wrexham Glyndwr celebrated a 3-2 win at Timperley Thirds in Division Three South of the North West League.
Scott Lawrenson scored Wrexham's consolation goal in the Seconds 3-1 defeat at Deeside Ramblers but there was better news for Wrexham Seconds in the Cheshire Womens League Division Five.
They crushed Crewe Vagrants Fourths 12-0 with captain Kez Ogden grabbing a hat-trick. Zoe Kershaw, Harriet Le Tissier and Anna Thomas all scored doubles with Cerys Haf Davies, Eli Davies and Erin Loman also on target.
The firsts battled out a 1-1 draw at home to Bolton in the North West League with Helen Roberts Wrexham's scorer.
In Division Four Buckley lost 3-2 at home to Alderley Edge Fourths while Northop Hall Seconds were also 3-2 losers at Sandbach.
Hall's firsts drew 2-2 against Triton in Division One.
