TOTTENHAM v NEWCASTLE UNITED

NICK HARRISON: Son’s back but will Spurs have their swagger back? They’re only seven points off spot but not sure whether they should just concentrate on Champions League success. 2-1

TOM NORRIS: Rafa did former club Liverpool a huge favour in midweek by beating City. Can he now put Spurs’ faint title hopes firmly to bed? Unlikely. 2-0

DAN HEALD: A huge result for Newcastle in midweek, but repeating those heroics at Wembley will be a bridge too far. 2-1

BRIGHTON v WATFORD

NH: Brighton will bounce back against a Watford side who will still be smarting from throwing away at Spurs. Murray will again be the man who makes The Seagulls tick. 2-1

TN: Brighton don’t capitulate at home like they did at Fulham, so Watford know they will be in for a tough ride. The Hornets are unpredictable at best. 2-1

DH: Shipping four at Fulham was massively out of character for the Seagulls and I imagine Hughton will be happy with a low-scoring draw here. 1-1

BURNLEY v SOUTHAMPTON

NH: It’s all about how Burnley react from Tuesday’s topsy-turvy night of emotions at Old Trafford. A point at United is a massive positive and should spur them on to take all three at home. 2-1

TN: Burnley almost pulled off a major shock at Old Trafford, but this is the type of game they need to win. The Saints are lively under new boss Hasenhuttl. 2-2

DH: A galling late equaliser should not detract from Burnley’s bold display at Old Trafford. The Saints are no mugs though and can emerge with a point. 2-2

CHELSEA v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN

NH: It’s about time we saw a Chelsea side in full flow and what better game could you ask for than Huddersfield at home to get the bizarre result at Bournemouth out of the system. 4-0

TN: If you start your tenure as boss with a 1-0 home defeat to 10-man Everton you probably don’t want to be heading to Stamford Bridge next - regardless of Wednesday. Good luck Siewert. 3-0

DH: A chance for Higuain to ender himself to the Stamford Bridge faithful. He should be relishing a chance to get at a hard-working but porous Huddersfield back four. 4-0

CRYSTAL PALACE v FULHAM

NH: Calum Chambers has suddenly become a really impressive midfield dynamo. That’s the biggest shock of all for Fulham and it will be an even bigger one if Ranieri keeps them up. 3-2

TN: Fulham now have goals in them, as the 4-2 success over Brighton showed. It’s just how many their defence ship that’s Ranieri’s issue. 2-2

DH: This one promises goals. Palace have improved in the attacking third, while Fulham continue to look top-heavy and treat defending as an afterthought. 3-1

EVERTON v WOLVES

NH: Wolves will fancy it at Goodison. They are in good goal-scoring form while Everton fans will be the players’ backs if they don’t see a decent display from their under-achievers. 1-1

TN: Silva will be relieved to have seen his side grind out that win at Huddersfield because Wolves won’t take a backward step at Goodison. 1-2

DH: Winning at Huddersfield was mandatory for Silva. But this could be a game which heaps the pressure back on if Wolves are on their mettle. 1-2

CARDIFF CITY v BOURNEMOUTH

NH: It will be emotional against in the Welsh capital where three points will be the best tonic after the cruel events of the past two weeks. 2-1

TN: Cardiff went toe-to-toe with Arsenal on Tuesday and Warnock needs to do exactly the same in this one. If he does, the Bluebirds could prosper. 1-0

DH: An expectant home crowd will be desperate for some relief after recent tragic events. But the Cherries’ superior firepower could decisive. 1-2

LEICESTER CITY v MANCHESTER UNITED

NH: The Foxes counter well against the better teams and United won’t be as bad as they were against Burnley. 1-2

TN: Ole decided to try and be clever with his team selection against Burnley and it came back to bite him. A return for Martial, Lingard and Herrera will get things back on track. 1-2

DH: It turns out that Solskjaer is human after all. The Burnley result should impart a swift lesson to the Norwegian, who can oversee a winning return here. 0-2

MANCHESTER CITY v ARSENAL

NH: Arsenal’s defence won’t be as good as Newcastle’s was on Tuesday. City were poor in Geordie-land, thinking they just had to turn up to won. Pep needs to step it up a gear or two. 3-2

TN: Pep’s boys really can’t afford any more slip ups if they want to retain their title and Arsenal will try to do all they can to make life difficult. The Gunners’ defence is an issue. 3-1

DH: Complacency was City’s biggest enemy in midweek. A rocket from Guardiola will have them out for blood against the Gunners. 4-1

WEST HAM UNITED v LIVERPOOL

NH: Liverpool will bounce back at West Ham, whose defence looked all over the place at Wolves. Salah certainly needs a rest and with Champions League ties looming, that might well happen. 1-3

TN: City playing first was supposed to put Liverpool under pressure. They will blow the Hammers away if the hosts reproduce Tuesday’s Molyneux horror show. 0-2

DH: West Ham fans must be fuming at their team’s Jekyll and Hyde performances this season. This one won’t end well for the Eastenders. 1-3
