BOURNEMOUTH v MANCHESTER UNITED

NICK HARRISON: United are slowly but surely getting there. Everyone seems obsessed with Pogba doing things wrong but he looked class to me in the win over Everton. Him and Martial to lead Mourinho’s men to victory. 1-2

TOM NORRIS: Not many people would have predicted that Bournemouth would be three points and two places above United after 10 games. Martial’s in good form, but the Cherries have been resilient when needed. 2-2

DAN HEALD: United’s defence can definitely be got at and Bournemouth’s in-form strikers will relish the chance to test that theory. But the visitors’ superior firepower will prove the difference, with Martial justifying the hype at last. 1-3

CARDIFF CITY v LEICESTER CITY

NH: This will be a tough game for everyone connected with Leicester City. Three points will not take away the memory of last week’s tragic event and it will take one momumental effort from the Foxes to get that against a stubborn Bluebirds side. 2-1

TN: The Foxes will want to mark their first game since the tragic passing of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha with all three points. Vardy should return and that could tip it in the visitors favour. 1-2

DH: An emotional week for the Foxes players, management and fans will have them primed for this game and I’ll back them to edge this one. 1-2

EVERTON v BRIGHTON

NH: Silva’s yet to work out what his best starting line-up is. Surely it’s the last-chance saloon for Walcott, who needs to do something to keep his place in Toffees first team. Sigurdsson will score again in an edgy home win. 2-1

TN: Only a point separates these two teams and a quick look at Everton’s starting XI makes that hard to fathom. Marco Silva has talent at his disposal and three points are on the cards here. 2-0

DH: Defeat at Old Trafford won’t do too much to derail the improving Toffees, who may have to be patient against a solid and defensively-minded Brighton side. 1-0

NEWCASTLE v WATFORD

NH: Watford are good one game but not so good the next. That gives Newcastle a chance but I still can’t see Benitez masterminding a home win to give the Toon Army some much needed cheer. 1-1

TN: Six goals scored in 10 games highlights exactly where Newcastle’s problems are. Watford will feel that two goals wins this encounter and it’s hard to back against the lively Hornets. Deulofeu and Perreyra to shine. 0-2

DH: The Geordie soap opera continues after a wretched season so far. Newcastle fans deserve better, but Watford have nothing to fear from their trip to the north east and can inflict more misery on the St James’s Park faithful. 1-2

WEST HAM v BURNLEY

NH: Noble’s out so that’s a massive boost for The Hammers, who with Arnautovic back upfront, will win the battle of the Claret and Blues. 3-1

TN: It won’t be thrill-a-minute with both scrapping for points. Burnley will want to win it with a set-piece, while the Hammers seem too reliant on Arnautovic. 1-1

DH: With home advantage, Hammers fans will demand a win. The miserly defensive record that served Burnley so well last season has crumbled and I expect Pellegrini’s side capitalise. 2-1

ARSENAL v LIVERPOOL

NH: Salah seems to have his Mo-jo back and if’s he’s on top of his game, he and Liverpool will have a good day against The Gunners, who are not as good as their winning run suggests. 2-2

TN: The Gunners still have a soft underbelly when attacked and Liverpool’s attacking trio of Salah, Mane and Firmino will be only too happy to exploit that. Emery’s side are potent going forward, but only score in the second-half. It could be too late by then. 1-2

DH: A real test of Arsenal’s much discussed improvements and a perfect choice for the televised match. For all the talk about Liverpool’s quality in attack, they have been outscored by the Gunners in the league so far and I’ll back Emery’s men to dig in. 2-2

WOLVES v TOTTENHAM

NH: Kane, Alli, Trippier and the dire Dier all need a rest while Pochettino needs to prove why everyone is labelling him a coaching great. Son to star in this. 1-2

TN: Wolves are having a little wobble, but that’s to be expected from the newly-promoted side. Escaping Wembley will be a relief for Spurs, who looked tired against City. Will be tight. 1-1

DH: For the last two weeks I’ve backed Wolves and they’ve cost me points (and money). But it’s difficult to back Spurs after their disjointed display against City so honours even. 1-1

MANCHESTER CITY v SOUTHAMPTON

NH: It was his birthday this week but they’ll be no surprises for returning ex-City boss Hughesie, whose old team will give him the bumps. 5-0

TN: He wouldn’t admit it but Sparky would probably settle for a 3-0 defeat. City weren’t at their best against Spurs but can hand starts to Sane and De Bruyne should they wish. A gulf in class. 4-0

DH: City away is the one fixture most Premier League sides see as damage limitation. This won’t be a happy homecoming for Hughes at the Etihad and could be embarrassing for the Saints if City are in the mood. 5-1

CHELSEA v CRYSTAL PALACE

NH: No need to rush Hazard back for this. Palace rely too much on Zaha but as long as the referee doesn’t fall for his tricks, Sarri’s side will win. 3-1

TN: Even without Hazard, Chelsea blew Burnley away at Turf Moor and that should be a warning to Palace. Barkley, Willian and Morata looked in good form and if their talisman is back this only ends one way. 2-0

DH: Palace have a dogged resilience about them and they’ll need that in abundance to keep the blues in check. Barkley’s showing form and Sarri’s even managing to get a tune out of Morata who’s looked like a misfit since his arrival at the Bridge. 3-1

HUDDERSFIELD v FULHAM

NH: Monday night football or Corrie? Ken, Rita and Jim McDonald on a crutch could conjure up a goal against Fulham so The Terriers should get three much-needed points. 2-1

TN: A far cry from last Monday’s offering. If Huddersfield are to get themselves out of trouble then this could be the start of that process. Fulham spent big, but they are poor at the back. 2-1

DH: Two sides who can’t buy a win right now. Collectively there’s enough quality in Fulham’s squad to pull them through but this is a must win if they’re to avoid the same relegation fate as the Terriers. 1-2
