Flint's Jade Jones won gold at the Manchester Taekwondo Grand Prix as a dominant performance in the final clinched victory against Chinese opponent Lijun Zhou.
The 25-year-old double Olympic gold medalist enhanced her legendary status the sport with an emphatic success in the -57kg category.
After recording three convincing victories en route to the final, she then dispatched Zhou in style with an 11-4 triumph.
Jones was well supported at the event with friends and family in attendance as she continued her preparations for the Olympics and next year's World Championships.
Reflecting on her victory, Jones said: "It's absolutely amazing. The home fans come out and shout in every single round, and when you're down it's hard to lose because they're just screaming at you.
"A lot of people don't see the hardness of the training and the mental effort it takes to keep winning all the time.
"It's really tough, because every time I step onto the mat I'm expected to win, so I just want to thank everyone at Taekwondo GB and my family and friends for all of their support."
The medal is the latest in Jones' litany of honours and follows the gold she won at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Rome earlier this year.
