AN "INCREDIBLY kind-hearted" six-year-old Wrexham girl is collecting food for people in need.

Annabelle Williams-Tulley, from Summerhill, is collecting food items at home and at her school, Abermorddu Primary, which will then be donated to Flintshire Foodbank.

Annabelle, who is regularly involved in charity events, says she knows there are plenty of people who don't get enough food in their bellies and is determined to do all she can to help.

The Year 1 pupils has made a poster advertising her campaign and what items people can donate.

Mum, Emma, said: "All the family are so proud of her and her incredibly kind heart. She knows that, especially in the current climate, many people are struggling to get enough food on the table.

"She is always doing to things to help, like picking up rubbish when she's out and about. I think this is just the start of all she'll achieve in helping people - she's just that sort of person."

The collection will be continuing for another week and anyone wishing to donate can do so by dropping off items at Abermorddu Primary School.

Emma added: "Annabelle's class teacher, Mrs Berry, has been amazing in her support of her and came up with the food collection idea after Annabelle said she wanted to help feed people.

"People's generosity has been amazing and the support for Annabelle's initiative has been brilliant."
