A FUNDRAISER has been launched in aid of a roadside food van in Wrexham after its generator was stolen.
The Leader previously that the Charlie's Kitchen van, based on B&Q's car park, suffered a break in late on Monday evening.
Thieves stole a £1,200 generator, meaning the small family business was closed on Tuesday morning and is now being forced to use an old generator.
A fundraiser has now been launched to raise money to buy a new generator for Andrew Leech, from Leeswood, who runs Charlie's Kitchen.
The GoFundMe page states: "He is a only small family run business and with all the help and support we can help him get back on his feet, with any help and support as little or as much we can purchase a new generator and get this man back up and running as he should be.
"Let’s all help out and support him on this quest to be able to run as he should, providing Wrexham with the breakfast and other foods you all like and enjoy."
