I am writing on behalf of Rhostyllen citizens.

It is that time of the year where we remember the fallen and those that served and serve in the forces.

It is Friday October 30.

There is not one poppy around Rhostyllen.

We can view poppies around villages and main roads but not Rhostyllen.

Some people worked hard to raise funds for a memorial placed in each garden.

There is a good turn out on the day.

But there is such a mess on the memorials, totally rusted.

The council keep promising to tidy them up.

It has been years of promises.

Still nothing has been done.

People are disgusted and always comment on this.

So council, you please get poppies out earlier and show more respect just like everywhere else, and get the memorials tidied up.

Once again there has been an enormous amount of funding spent in Rhostyllen once again on work not needed.

Just on work that suits the council.

A very upset resident.
