Rhosrobin Road is closed from its junction with B5425 Llay New Road to its junction with Glanaber Court.
Wrexham County Borough Council said the closure, which came into effect on Monday, November 2, is to allow O'Connors Utilities to replace electrical mains on behalf of Scottish Power.
The closure is one-way, allowing traffic to flow only in a westerly direction.
The closed section of the road is about 500 metres long.
