A total of 10,494 fans packed into the Racecourse on Tuesday night as Wrexham hosted Burnley in their third home game of the season.
Wrexham came into the game on the back of a win at Millwall and a draw at Swansea, whilst Burnley sat at the bottom of the Championship without a win so far this season.
The 1,267 Burnley fans made plenty of noise before the game as they looked to back their side, who were relegated from the Premier League last time out.
As the game started, it was Wrexham and their fans on top as Wrexham nearly went ahead through Kieffer Moore, who forced a good save from the Burnley goalkeeper Max Weiss.
However, despite Wrexham having a lot of the ball and looking the better side, it was the team from Lancashire who were celebrating in the 26th minute.
Burnley cut through the Wrexham midfield and defence, and Zeki Amdouni slotted the ball past Anthony Patterson in the Wrexham goal.
In the half, which saw fan favourite Max Cleworth forced off through injury, Wrexham struggled to break down the stubborn Burnley shape.
At the break, Phil Parkinson decided to make a double substitution, with Ollie Rathbone and new signing Callum O'Hare coming on to replace Josh Windass and Lewis O'Brien.
The substitutions made a difference as Wrexham played with more pace and purpose, as they looked to draw level.
That work paid off shortly before the hour mark as new signing Jacques Ekomie scored his second goal in three games to bring the home side level.
Issa Kabore put a brilliant ball into the box, which Ekomie raised highest to meet, nodding the ball past Weiss.

The left wing-back celebrated his first goal at the Cae Ras with the Reds fans in the Macron Stand.
Both sides had chances to win the game, but in the end neither team could put the ball in the back of the net for a second time.
Wrexham are now three games unbeaten and head down to London to face West Ham United on Friday.
