A WREXHAM tattoo studio is hosting a special charity day this weekend.

The team at Wrexham Ink, on Chester Street, will be busy with a fundraising tattooing day.

In memory of the studio's dear friend Rob 'Wizard' Lafferty, who passed away last year, they will be fundraising for Dynamic Wrexham, the centre for children and young people with disabilities.

The team said: "We have chosen to raise money for Dynamic because Rob has always been a big supporter of the charity and volunteered there before eventually going to work for them full-time until he became too ill to work. His heart was always in working with the children and it’s what gave him joy in his life."

Wrexham Ink team: Jerry Kells, Jac O'Brien, Liam Green, Lawri Green, Nick Green and Delyth Green.

The studio's artists, co-owner Nick Green, Liam Green, Lawri Green and Jerry Kells, will be donating their time, along with co-owner owner Delyth Green, and manager Jac O’Brien.

Taking place from 10am on Sunday, September 13, the artists will be doing flash designs for £30 each, from some pre-drawn designs in the studio

There will also be a raffle, with prizes donated by various local businesses. The draw will be made on the day by Rob's Sharon Green.

If a tattoo isn't for you but you would like to help, people can also donate via a GoFundMe for Dynamic, set up by Sharon: https://tinyurl.com/cf57xes6
