A recruitment page describes the Broughton Shopping Park venue as a 'new site coming soon' and lists vacancies for both a Team Member and Assistant Manager.
Both positions are available on a part-time or full-time basis.
The roles are based at Broughton Shopping Park.
The Team Member role pays between £10.85 and £12.71 an hour and involves serving customers, taking orders and working with kitchen colleagues.
The advert lists a start date of September 24 and is due to close on October 4.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Manager position offers a salary from £32,723 a year and requires at least one year’s experience.
Applicants are expected to have skills including food safety, shift management and communication, with the vacancy set to close on September 25.
Although the recruitment drive provides a fresh indication that preparations are progressing, the listed employee start date should not be taken as confirmation of the restaurant’s opening day.
The Leader previously reported that proposals were submitted in October 2025 to convert the former Tim Hortons restaurant and drive-thru at Broughton Shopping Park into North Wales’ first Slim Chickens.
The application, lodged by Boparan Restaurant Group, included changes to the exterior and new branding.
Flintshire Council approved the plans the following month, before separate permission was later granted for illuminated signage advertising the drive-thru.
The restaurant will also offer customers the option of eating inside.

Current vacancies, including the Team Member and Assistant Manager roles in Broughton, are listed on the company’s Harri careers page, which describes the restaurant as a “new site coming soon” and allows applicants to submit applications online.

In July, Slim Chickens said it was working towards opening the Broughton restaurant during the autumn, although no specific date was announced.
The company’s marketing and openings team told The Leader: “Plans are to open in autumn time.”
The Broughton branch will be Slim Chickens’ first in North Wales, with the nearest existing restaurant currently located at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet.
