Sam Richards, aged 35 and of Gwel Y Mynydd, Buckley, was sentenced for drink-driving, which took place in Ffrwd Road in Wrexham on August 12 this year. The court handed down a £350 fine and a 40 month driving ban, as well as ordering the payment of £85 costs.
Christopher Belton, 35 and and of Church Road, Litherland, Merseyside, was sentenced for drink-driving, which took place on August 11 this year at Dee Road in Connah's Quay. The court issued a 12 month driving ban and a £290 fine, as well as ordering the defendant to pay a £116 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Leon Chagannis, aged 53 and of Cae Daniel, Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham, was sentenced for theft, in that he took stock worth £21 from Spar in Wrexham on June 29 this year. The court fined him £140 and ordered the payment of compensation to the value of the stolen goods, as well as £85 costs.
Thomas Jones, aged 27 and of Llwyneinion Road, Rhosllanerchrugog, was sentenced for two offences of assaulting a police officer in the execution of their duty, which took place on April 3 this year in Rhos. The court imposed a 12 month community order with 20 days of rehabilitation activity, a £120 fine and £50 compensation to pay to each officer he assaulted. The defendant must also pay £85 costs.
Paul McGinty, aged 46 and of Elmvale, Derry, was sentenced for exceeding a 50mph (air quality) speed limit on the A494 between Garden City and Deeside Industrial Park on June 6 last year. The court imposed three penalty points and a £220 fine. The defendant must also pay £620 costs and an £88 victim surcharge.
