Drivers are being urged to park responsibly amid ongoing concerns about traffic offences in Wrexham.
The warnings follow repeated breaches of traffic regulations in the city centre, with motorists ignoring no entry signs and driving the wrong way down one-way streets.
These incidents have occurred despite new traffic arrangements being in place for more than a year.
Councillor Nigel Williams, Wrexham Council’s lead member for economy, business and tourism, said: "We want everyone to enjoy Wrexham and get the most out of their time in the city centre.
"If you travel in by car, help make sure you have a hassle-free experience by parking responsibly and being mindful of traffic arrangements.
"Please consider parking in one of the many council-run or privately-run car parks, and make sure you follow the ‘no entry’ and one-way traffic rules around the High Street area.
"Wrexham is on the up and we have a fantastic city centre, so please park responsibly, drive responsibly and enjoy our lovely city."
The current traffic system, introduced around 18 months ago, covers Yorke Street, High Street and Town Hill.
Authorised vehicles use rising bollards at the bottom of Yorke Street to access a one-way system along High Street, Chester Street or Charles Street.
However, not all drivers have adapted to the changes, leading to safety concerns for pedestrians and other road users.
North Wales Police has responded by taking action against offenders.
Sergeant Nathan Harvey, of Wrexham City, said: "North Wales Police takes reports of traffic offences seriously and will take positive action where offences are observed by officers or reported by members of the public.
"Any evidence of dangerous, careless, or anti-social driving will be reviewed and, where appropriate, progressed for prosecution.
“Several motorists have already been identified and dealt with following enforcement activity in Wrexham city centre.
“In some cases, drivers have been spoken to directly by officers at the time of the offence, while others have subsequently received notifications and follow-up correspondence through the post.”

Sergeant Harvey said: "In addition to high-visibility patrols, North Wales Police is supported by an extensive CCTV network throughout Wrexham city centre.
"This technology allows officers to review incidents, identify offending vehicles and drivers, and take enforcement action even when officers are not present at the time an offence occurs.
"We recognise that this type of behaviour can have a significant impact on public safety and public confidence.
"Excessive speed, dangerous manoeuvres, unnecessary noise and other forms of anti-social driving place pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users at risk, particularly in busy areas of the city centre.
“We will continue to work with partners, utilise all available evidence and take robust action against those who choose to disregard the law. Behaviour that compromises the safety of our communities will not be tolerated, and we encourage anyone who witnesses offending to report it so that appropriate action can be taken.”
